Discription

This charming milk glass compote was made by the Fenton Glass Company, in Williamstown, West Virginia. Fenton made this cactus pattern piece with a double crimped, ruffled edge, a squared stem and a round foot.
The stem has a raised leaf motif on each side and the compote bowl has stylized cacti arms or branches that are beaded to resemble the cactus spines. This pattern was only produced between 1959 and 1962.

The compote stands 6 inches tall, is 5 ½ inches across the top and has a 3 inch base. There are no chips, cracks, nicks or discoloration—in fact, this piece is in nearly new condition.

This petite sized compote, in addition to adding to your milk glass collection, would be useful for candy, fruit or a candle.
