Description

This gorgeous Belleek teapot is perfect in every way--except for its missing lid. The pattern is "limpet," a design based on the sea limpet, found attached to rocks on the banks and shores of Ireland and elsewhere. The handle is shaped like coral with a lustre finish called "cob," a light golden corn color. The printed green mark on the bottom is the third green mark used by Belleek, the sixth mark used in its long history and it dates the teapot from 1965 to March, 1980.

The teapot is 9 1/2 inches from tip of spout to tip of handle, 6 1/2 inches tall and weighs 14 ounces. No cracks, no chips, no discoloration--just no lid, and it's priced accordingly. You'll never put a nosegay of flowers in a prettier container than this one.
